Bourgault Industries Recognized with EDA Dealer’s Choice Award

Achieving high ratings for its product quality and service, Bourgault Industries has been recognized with an EDA Dealer’s Choice Award in the 2017 Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey Report.

The prestigious award was presented by the Equipment Dealers Association in the Shortline category. The company was recognized for top scores in all 11 business categories, including product quality, technical support and responsiveness to dealer needs, plus a separate overall satisfaction rating from dealers.

“We watch the survey every year, and it’s a good confirmation to know that we are maintaining strong relationships with our dealers and providing good products and services,” said Scott Lessmeister, North America sales manager for Bourgault Industries. “However, we also make sure we never become complacent. We’re always trying to improve and the last thing we want is to rest on our laurels.”

Bourgault Industries was previously recognized with an EDA Gold Level award, which is presented to manufacturers that receive exemplary ratings in the annual survey.

Lessmeister said the company is also committed to being highly responsive whenever there is an issue to address, whether that involves Bourgault Industries, a dealer or end user. “We’re committed to step up and fulfill our responsibility, and that attitude goes a long way to being ranked number one,” he said.

“This year, the Shortline category was extremely competitive with Bourgault coming out on top,” said Joe Dykes, vice president of industry relations for EDA. “Even though Bourgault has scored well in the past, it’s always exciting to see a company receive the Dealer’s Choice Award for the first time.  We are pleased to see them utilize this report to facilitate improvements in their business practices.”
